한국어에서 [f]의 음소적 지위에 관하여
On the phonemic status of [f] in Korean Language

SUMMARY

The purpose of this paper is to prove that Korean speakers, mainly among the young, started to accept voiceless labiodental fricative [f] as an independent phoneme — not an allophone — and to seek for possibility of change in the orthography regulation. It is a noticeable phenomenon that speakers of Korean language which has a consonantal system without [f] began to accept it as an independent phoneme, also a chance to observe the process of naturalization of foreign phonemes.
